Emily Bayer finished first at the season-opening Great River Open in Canton, Mo. on Saturday. The junior set a new personal record (15:43.08) and blew away the rest of the field, finishing 20 seconds ahead of second place. Bayer (now a 3x Spartan Athlete of the Week) brought home individual gold for the first time in her cross-country career...
