Hudson earns the honor after racing for first place at the season opening Washington University Early Bird Meet on Saturday, September 5th. Hudson's time of 14:59 set the pace for the field of 128. Hudson has earned All-American honors in cross country the past two seasons, as well as several times in both indoor and outdoor track and field.

Hudson is a senior from Festus, Missouri, where she attended Crystal City High School. She is a Criminal Justice major.
