Smith, a 5'8 senior guard, had three solid performances over the Christmas break, to help lead the Spartans to a 2-1 record, including the Webster University Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament Title. Smith averaged 16 points over the break, with a season high 22 points coming in the Tournament Title win over NCAA D-II Maryville University.

Smith is from Ammityville, New York, and attended Suffolk Community College before joining the Spartans last season.
