Molloy won her first two matches of the season, defeating her McKendree opponents in singles play (6-4, 6-2) and in doubles play with partner Megan Brendal (8-4). Those wins were the only two for the Spartans against a strong McKendree squad.

Molloy, an Education major and transfer from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, is not your average college junior. She and her husband of twenty years have three teenage children.
