Firebaugh, a senior lefty from Centenniel, Colorado, threw for two complete game victories, including one shutout, in the first week and a half of play for the Spartans. His most recent victory was over Bethel (Tenn.), who received votes in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll. Firebaugh has allowed 2 runs, 13 hits, 1 walk, and has struck out 16 batters in 190 throws.
