This week's Spartan Athlete of the Week is men's basketball guard, Sam Pearson. Over the course of the week, the junior was lights-out, averaging over 20 points in three games, including a 29-point performance against Bethel University. On Saturday, Pearson was named the tournament MVP at the McKendree Classic after leading the Spartans to an 18-point victory over the Bearcats.
