The righthander from West Monroe, La., held the number one team in the NAIA to just two hits in six commanding innings. He finished with nine strikeouts and three walks with one earned run. His pitching led the 15th-ranked Spartans to an upset victory over Oklahoma City University on Friday. This was the first loss of the season for OCU.

Earlier this week, Coronado was named the AMC Pitcher of the Week.
