Krus led the Spartans to a 4-1 record in the first week of play. The sophomore recorded four double-doubles on the week , all at the St. Thomas University Invitational. There, the team went 3-1, dropping its only match to No. 19 Lindsey Wilson. Her best match came against Kansas Wesleyan, who received votes in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Krus notched 48 assists in a four set win by Missouri Baptist. Currently, Krus ranks in the Top 10 in assists/set with 10.53.
