Kristina Medanovic was outstanding this week and led her No. 18-ranked Missouri Baptist team to two victories, one an upset win over No. 7-ranked Columbia College. Medanovic hit a blistering .500 on the week as a whole. In the first match of the week against No. 7 Columbia, the Spartan middle posted 15 kills on 26 swings with just three attack errors with one solo and two assisted blocks. She finished that match with an .462 attack percentage. She followed that performance up with an 11-kill, 1.5 block performance over Stephens College. On the week, Medanovic led the team with 3.71 kills/set. Of her 42 swings in seven sets, she recorded just five attack errors. The Serbian middle also recorded three solo blocks and five block assists.
