Carey was simply tremendous for the Spartans during the NAIA National Championship over the course of the week in Sioux City, Iowa. The right-side hitter from West Sussex, England hit .366 in five matches, which ranked fifth overall in the entire tournament. Her best match was against No. 12-ranked Vanguard University in the single elimination match. She recorded 25 kills and three assisted blocks in the effort.
