Alfonzo dominated the field in the 3000m race walk to open the season at the Illinois College Snowbird Open. The junior from Venezuela finished with a time of 14:12.80 to take first place and qualify for Nationals as well. She beat the “A” standard to qualify by more than two full minutes with her personal-best time.
