Will Harrington played his role to near perfection over the past week, and was the leader on the court in the upset of No. 9 Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) on Saturday. The win catapulted MBU into fourth place in the American Midwest Conference and secured a home game in the AMC Tournament. Harrington recorded another double-digit assist night and has 184 on the season, just 31 shy of the all-time Spartan record in a season. Among his team-leading 19 points on Saturday was a clutch three-pointer to cut the Missouri Baptist deficit to one with 3:57 left and a second chance bucket off an offensive rebound to give the Spartans a lead with 2:34 left.
