MBU Athletics

Younge helped the Spartans win the American Midwest Conference Championship last Friday night. The sophomore scored 23.5 points for MBU, tops on the team. Younge set a new NAIA mark in the triple jump with a leap of 11.90 meters, more than two feet past her previous best. She also won the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.30 seconds. 

Outside of the two first-place finishes, Younge placed in the top eight in the long jump and high jump and was a part of MBU's 4x400 relay that earned second place.
