This week's Spartan Athlete of the Week is women's volleyball standout Caterina Cigarini! 

Cate Cigarini was a key player as the 8th ranked Spartans went 4-0 on the week, including two wins over other ranked opponents. The junior middle blocker hit .514 for the week, with a 14 kill performance on Saturday against defending national champion Lindsey Wilson. The Italian posted a .667 attack percentage in that match alone. The Spartans have won 19 in a row and have a pivotal matchup with No. 3 Columbia at the SRC this coming Thursday.
