Congratulations to this week's Spartan Athlete of the Week, Men's Track and Field standout Mayson DeRousse! 

DeRousse was a major player as the Spartans won the team title at Saturday's AMC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The senior won the pole vault and long jump and finished second in the 200-meter dash. DeRousse also ran the second leg of the Spartans' victorious 4x400 relay team. The De Soto native was named AMC Newcomer of the Year, Outstanding Field Athlete of the Meet, and Overall Athlete of the Meet.
