Austin Hale joined the Spartans in the fall of 2021 as an assistant coach of the men's and women's tennis programs.
Hale, a Kansas City, Mo. native, graduated from Missouri Baptist University in December of 2018. At Missouri Baptist, Hale competed for the Spartans from 2016-2019 where he was a part of the team that won the conference championship and went to nationals in 2016. Prior to Missouri Baptist, Hale spent one season at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kan.
Before coming back to MBU, Hale spent time in college coaching as an assistant for the men and women at McKendree University. He also coached boys and girls at the high school level at Westminster Christian Academy and Platte County High School and at the club level at Vetta Racquet Sports West and Kansas City Country Club.
