Chirag Dahiya is a graduate assistant coach for the Missouri Baptist University men's and women's tennis programs.
A native of Guragon, Huryana, India, Dahiya is a graduate of Lindenwood University where he played on the men's tennis team at LU-Belleville under MBU head coach Scott Goodyear. In addition to assisting at Missouri Baptist, Dahiya is also a tennis pro at Frontenac Racquet Club.
The Spartans have experienced an uptick since Goodyear and Dahiya's arrival, particularly on the men's side. In Fall 2023, MBU's top duo – Dragan Omcikus and Luca da Silva Ebenriter – finished as runners-up at ITA Regionals in South Bend, Indiana. Omcikus and Ebenriter's run didn't end there as they earned an at-large berth to the ITA Cup and made it all the way to the NAIA ITA Cup semifinals. At the end of the fall, Omcikus and Ebenriter ranked atop the region and fourth nationally in the NAIA.
In 2022-23, the Spartan men set a program record for most wins in a season (15) finishing the year at 15-9 overall. In the final NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll, Missouri Baptist was receiving votes for the first time in recent history.
