Kameron Lewis was named assistant coach for the Missouri Baptist University track and field program in August 2025.
A 2022 graduate of Philander Smith University, Lewis brings a strong background as a student-athlete and leader. He was instrumental in reestablishing the track and field program at Philander Smith in 2017 and served as a multi-year team captain. During his collegiate career, Lewis competed in a wide range of events, including the 100m, 200m, 400m, 110m hurdles, high jump, shot put, discus, javelin and hammer throw.
Lewis helped lead his teams to multiple victories and championships while earning recognition for his dedication and versatility.
His leadership and commitment to excellence laid the foundation for his transition into coaching.
As a coach, Lewis emphasizes discipline, determination, and dedication. His experience as a student-athlete allows him to connect with his athletes and support their development both on and off the track.
