Kristine Smyth was unstoppable over the past week against two ranked opponents and led Missouri Baptist to a 1-1 week, including an upset victory over No. 25 William Woods. Smyth began the week with a 25 point performance against No. 2 Freed-Hardeman and was 3-8 from three-point range. Against No. 25 WIlliam Woods, Smyth again led the Spartans on the court, this time, all the way to an upset over the conference rival. Smyth's 28-point, seven rebound performance was a new career-high for the senior. In both contests, Smyth led all scorers from both teams.
