Congratulations to this week's Spartan Women's Athlete of the Week, women's track and field pole vaulter Alaina Scott!

The sophomore was able to breeze past her previous record of 3.20 meters in the pole vault at the NAIA/JUCO Challenge in Pittsburg, Kan. over the weekend. Scott set a brand new PR on her second try, earning first place in the event with a height of 3.30 meters.
