Reed began her junior season with an eighth place finish out of 66 runners at the Redhawks Cross Country Invitational hosted by NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State. She ran the 4K course in 15:16.70 and finished second among non-D1 runners. For her performance, Reed earned AMC Cross Country Runner of the Week – the first of 2023 and the third of her career.
