MEN'S WRESTLING OVERWHELMS HANNIBAL-LAGRANGE
ST. LOUIS— Missouri Baptist Men's Wrestling knocked off Hannibal-LaGrange 30-13 on Tuesday night.
The Spartans won seven of nine matches to improve to 3-0 in AMC competition. After both teams left the 125 class open, Sam Paneitz scored a victory for MBU in the 133 class. The sophomore defeated Caleb McElfresh by a 9-3 decision.
After Rhiley Smith won by forfeit in the 141 class, Bryce Bachowski kept it going with a tech fall victory over Quinten Carver at 149. Steven Weathers then won by major decision at 157.
Nick Olejnik won by fall in the 165 class and Andrew Mahone did the same at 197.
The Spartans will be back in action on December 7 at home against the University of St. Mary (Kan.).
