CREVE COEUR, Mo. – The Missouri Baptist University women's tennis team had no problem pushing its winning streak to 10 as it swept NCAA DIII Fontbonne University on Senior Day at Creve Coeur Racquet Club.

The senior class of Thais Castiglioni, Krista Tyson and Cheyenne Anderson led the way for the Spartans. Castiglioni and Tyson, who played with each other at Florida State College of Jacksonville prior to MBU, started off the afternoon with an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Anderson and doubles partner Emily Brown ran away with the No. 2 slot with an 8-0 victory. Much like the men's side, the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles positions were vacant and secured the Spartans two freebie points.

In singles action, Castiglioni, Tyson and Rafaela Davide all dominated their individual matches with straight-set victories. Then at No. 3 singles and No. 4 singles, Cheyenne Anderson and Dani Jo Stevenson won with identical 6-1, 6-0 wins, respectively.

The Spartans will go head-to-head at home with one of the NAIA's top teams in No. 7 William Woods University tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. The regular season concludes in the evening as Missouri Baptist heads to American Midwest Conference foe St. Louis College of Pharmacy at 6:30 p.m. (Tower Grove Park).
