The Spartans had another successful weekend on the keyboard with a pair of wins in their regular seasons. The CSL League of Legends squad picked up a win against neighbor Saint Louis University while the Tespa Overwatch squad went 1-1.
 
League of Legends CSL Regular Season

Roster:

vs Saint Louis University (W, 2-0)

• The first game was incredibly close and lasted over 40 minutes
• Spartans had a strong late-game surge with Andrew Burch's Jinx and Evan Stoll's Karthas
• MBU pulled out the win with good rotations and team play
• Game two was won in convincing fashion

 
Overwatch Tespa Regular Season
 
Roster:

• DPS - Trevor Ambler (Hanzo)
• DPS - Danny Keogh (Reaper)
• Tank - Sam Aulgur (Orisa)
• Tank - Andrew Cuba (Sigma)
• Support - Ryan Green (Moira)
• Support - Tyler Lewis (Baptiste)

 
vs California University- Long Beach (L, 0-2)

• Both teams were competing closely for the control map Ilios
• Long Beach's talented DPS players disoriented the Spartans and took game one 1-2
• The second map of King's Row was also tightly contested
• MBU fell in overtime for a disappointing 0-2 sweep

 
vs Syracuse University (W, 2-0)

• Syracuse came out strong and took the first control point
• MoBap reestablished control and went on to win Ilios 2-1
• Syracuse picked King's Row for map two
• The Spartans took that one as well with a 3-2 final
