SPARTANS COMPLETE SWEEP OF TROJANS

St. Louis, Mo. – Missouri Baptist baseball earned their 31st win of the season and a sweep of Hannibal-LaGrange with the 16-5 trouncing on Monday.

Masen Palmier was on the hill to start the game for MBU, beginning the game with two quick strikeouts and a one-two-three inning. His team backed him with some run support in the bottom of the first with two runs.

In the bottom of the third, the Spartans found two more runs thanks to two Trojan errors. The offense continued to produce in the fourth. After Drew Brooks scored on DeShawn Lookout's RBI single, Mason Washington plated three more with a home run over the left field fence. The Spartans led 8-0 after four.
