ST. LOUIS – Through guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), faculty experts and community health experts, the Missouri Baptist University Department of Athletics has modified its spectator policy for indoor and outdoor sports.
Indoor and outdoor facilities will now be allowing
MBU spectators (students, faculty & staff, family members, those identified on pass lists) at 20 percent capacity. This allows entry for the first 200
MBU spectators – first come first serve. Spectators will continue to be screened at Spartan Field and the Carl and Deloris Petty Sports & Recreation Complex upon arrival. To speed up the process of screening (temperature reading and health screening questions), spectators are highly encouraged to download the Spartan Safe App (
Apple /
Android) and have it filled out prior to arrival.
We ask that those in attendance wear a face covering at all times and maintain safe social distancing.
TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR VISITING FANS / GENERAL PUBLIC NOT ON A PASS LIST
MBU Athletics will continue to monitor and follow all campus, local and state guidelines to determine if further increases in event attendance will be permitted with the safety of our student-athletes, staff and campus community in mind. Due to the fluid nature of the pandemic, this spectator policy may be changed at any time.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Doors will open 1 hour prior to the start of an event ; please plan your arrival accordingly
- Before entry, all spectators will be asked to complete a current temperature reading and are asked to complete a confidential, electronic health screening form via the Spartan Safe App (Apple / Android) the day of the event (please do not travel to the venue without a GREEN pass on the App)
- Those in attendance are REQUIRED to wear a face covering at all times ; No medical or special accommodations for the mask mandate will be allowed
- Social distancing is required
- Any spectator not complying 100% with the requirements will be asked to leave campus immediately
- No concessions will be available
- Fans can also cheer on the Spartans virtually with our free, live video stream on the Spartan Digital Network ; links for live coverage (stats, video, etc.) can always be found on MBUSpartans.com
- Printed rosters/programs will not be available this year ; rosters and/or game notes are available digitally on MBUSpartans.com or on the MBU Spartans App (Apple / Android)
- We ask that spectators refrain from gathering/intermingling with players and/or coaches prior to and at the conclusion of the event
