Jett Garners NAIA Baseball All-America First Team Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – James Jett was selected to the NAIA All-America First Team on Wednesday after an impressive 2025 campaign where he fueled Missouri Baptist University baseball to the American Midwest Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships.

The senior from Louisville, Ky., finished seventh in the nation with 81 runs batted in while leading the Spartans with a 1.450 on-base plus slugging percentage, a .451 batting average, an AMC-best 21 home runs, 16 doubles, and 79 hits. He additionally chipped in 14 stolen bases and a .980 fielding percentage.

Additionally, in seven postseason games, Jett was on fire with a .567 batting average, three doubles, four home runs, a 1.673 OPS, and 22 RBI.

Fueled by their power-hitting outfielder, MBU went on a 21-game win streak, which tied a program record, and won the AMC Tournament in four straight games. They then fell two wins shy of advancing out of the NAIA Opening Round, Williamsburg, Ky., bracket.
