ARLINGTON, Texas – The Missouri Baptist University men's and women's bowling teams have both been selected to compete in the 2026 United States Bowling Congress Intercollegiate (USBC) Team Championships (ITC) Sectionals, as announced on Wednesday.
The Spartan men and women earned their postseason berths following strong performances throughout the 2025–26 season, accumulating enough Team Ranking System (TRS) points to qualify for the national postseason. Both teams will compete at the Fort Worth Sectional, hosted at Cityview Lanes in Fort Worth, Texas, March 14–15, with a spot in the ITC Finals on the line.
Each section features a deep national field, with only the top four teams advancing. All teams will bowl 64 Baker games over the two-day competition to determine the advancers.
The USBC ITC Sectionals are held at four sites nationwide, with qualifiers advancing to the ITC Finals at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, April 13–18.
The Intercollegiate Singles Championships (ISC) sectional qualifiers also will take place at each site on March 13, with the ISC national finals running concurrently in Green Bay.
Select matches from the sectional qualifiers will be streamed live on
BowlTV, which will also provide full coverage of the ITC and ISC qualifying and match-play rounds at the national championships. The finals of both events will be taped for broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
MBU will open the postseason at AMC Town & Country Lanes in Columbia, Mo., this weekend for the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships. For more information on the Heart Championships, click
