ST. LOUIS — Missouri Baptist University men's and women's tennis combined for a perfect 4–0 day on Friday at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center, highlighted by dominant performances across both lineups. Head coach

MBU men's tennis improved to 12–3 on the season, while the women moved to 7–7, with each team picking up two victories on the day.
The Spartan men recorded a 7–0 sweep over Baker before earning a 4–0 win against Midland, while the Missouri Baptist women added a 5–0 victory over Baker and a 4–0 win against Midland.
On the men's side, Missouri Baptist opened the day by sweeping Baker. The Spartans secured the doubles point with wins on all three courts as Luca Ebenriter and Arkhip Tokmakov led the way with a 7–5 victory at No. 1.
Missouri Baptist carried that momentum into singles play, winning all six matches. Ebenriter picked up a 7–5, 6–2 win at No. 1, while Strahinja Radanovic earned a straight-set victory at No. 2. Ruslan Anurev added a 6–1, 6–0 win at No. 3, and Samuel Sanchez battled to a three-set victory at No. 4. Tokmakov and Alex Meyer completed the sweep with wins at No. 5 and No. 6.
In the second match, the Spartans once again swept doubles to take control early against Midland. Ebenriter and Nicolas Sanchez earned a 6–0 win at No. 1, while Radanovic and Tokmakov edged a 7–6 victory at No. 2.
Missouri Baptist clinched the match with three completed singles victories. Radanovic secured a 6–1, 6–2 win at No. 2, Tokmakov won by retirement at No. 5, and Meyer added a 6–3, 6–0 victory at No. 6 to seal the 4–0 result.
On the women's side, Missouri Baptist also turned in a strong showing, beginning with a 5–0 win over Baker. After splitting the first two doubles matches, the Spartans secured the point behind wins at No. 2 and No. 3.
In singles play, Missouri Baptist won four completed matches in straight sets. Jocelynn Carmody earned a 6–1, 6–2 victory at No. 3, Lucia Rubio and Mariana Azevedo each posted 6–0, 6–0 style wins at No. 4 and No. 5, and Melissa Jangarasheva added a win at No. 6 to clinch the match.
The Spartans followed with a 4–0 win over Midland. Missouri Baptist claimed the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3, highlighted by a 6–0 win from Melissa Jangarasheva and Yvonne Shannon at the top spot.
In singles, the Spartans secured the match with three completed victories. Shannon led the way with a 6–0, 6–1 win at No. 1, Rubio added a 6–0, 6–0 victory at No. 4, and Jangarasheva clinched the match with a win by retirement at No. 5.
