PARK CITY, Kan.- Six Spartan men's wrestlers take their shot at a national title at the 69th Annual NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championships in Park City, Kan., this week from March 5-7, 2026.
The program matched the number of grapplers it sent to the national tournament last year. Three wrestlers will make their second trip to Park City Arena, with three wrestlers making their championship debut.
Of the three returners, Daryl Mills posted the best record, finishing 1-2 at the national championships last year. Mills was ranked No. 16 in the final poll of the season and finished fourth at 141lbs at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships. He was also MBU's sole autoqualifier. Mills is slated to wrestle the 12-seed Arojae Hart of Central Methodist (Mo.), a very common opponent for the senior. The two have wrestled three times this season the first match was in favor of Mills, while the more recent two have gone in favor of the Eagle.
Joel Campbell (174) and Amad Soufi (285) both return to the big stage with a pair of at-large bids. Soufi spent time in the National Poll early in the season. Campbell is set to wrestle the 9-seed Maclachia Harris of the University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) in the opening round, where Soufi is slotted to wrestle Koen Mattern of Hastings (Neb.) in his first match. These matches will be the first time either wrestler has competed against the other.
Brayden Eikermann (149), John Davis (133), and Brandon Bollinger (157) each made their first trip to the big dance via at-large bids. Eikermann finished seventh at the Heart Conference Championships. Eikermann finished ranked No. 16 in the final poll. The redshirt-freshman will wrestle the No. 1 seed Kaden Fetterrolf of Oklahoma City in the first round.
Bollinger finished No.19 in the final poll. The redshirt-senior is set to wrestle Easton Larsen of Grand View (Iowa) in his first match of the tournament. Davis finished sixth at the Heart Conference Championships and is set to wrestle Paul Ruff of Concordia (Neb.) in his first time in Park City.
