Andrea Robb was named Director of Spirit & Community Engagement on May 7, 2019.
Andrea is a 2016 alumna of Missouri Baptist University with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Theatre, and a 2018 alumna of Fontbonne University where she graduated with her M.A. in Theatre. Melding her two educational backgrounds, Robb specializes in Performance Psychology and is currently pursuing her PhD in this subject at Grand Canyon University. Prior to taking on her role as the Director of Spirit and Community Engagement, she served MBU Athletics as the Manager of Operations. In this role, Robb addressed and redesigned the processes in event management, ticketing, and budgets. She held this role for almost three years before transitioning. Also at MBU, Robb serves the Theatre Department as an adjunct professor, Director of the Agency Improv group, resident costumer, and occasionally directs shows.
Robb brings broad administrative and mentoring skills to her leadership as the Director of Spirit and Community Engagement. In one calendar year she has grown both programs to higher participant numbers and greater levels of talent than in program history, planned extensive partnerships with MBU groups and Greater St. Louis organizations, and has overseen the launch of a second cheer program.
On top of her work at MBU, Robb works as a freelance artist in the Greater St. Louis Area. As an artist, she primarily works as a costumer in the semi-professional theatre circle. With extensive background in costume construction and design, she has earned high praise from local outlets like Ladue News, STL Today, and the Riverfront Times.
