Chase Dippel was hired as Men's Basketball Assistant Coach in June, 2020. Dippel comes to MBU after two years at NCAA DII Emporia State.
Dippel will be plenty familiar with the ways of the NAIA after getting his start in the coaching ranks as a Graduate Assistant with the University of St. Mary (Kan.) in 2015. The Lindsborg, Kan. native spent two seasons with the Spires before moving up to become a full-time assistant with his alma mater, Ottawa University (Kan.).
Prior to entering the coaching ranks, Dippel played four seasons as a guard for the Braves. His 1,354 career points rank him among the Top 10 on the OU MBB scoring list. He was a three-time All-KCAC selection. He also holds the OU career record for most three-pointers made.
Dippel graduated from Ottawa in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and History. He completed his Master's in Education in 2017 from the University of St. Mary.
