Abby Miller joined Missouri Baptist University as an associate athletic trainer in 2025. She brings more than 15 years of experience in athletic training at the collegiate level, most recently serving as an assistant athletic trainer at Lindenwood University.
While at Lindenwood, Miller worked with a variety of programs including NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey and men’s basketball, as well as ACHA men’s and women’s ice hockey. She played a key role in coordinating medical coverage for national tournaments and regional events, implementing concussion protocols, managing injury recovery plans, and mentoring student athletic trainers.
Miller began her athletic training career as a graduate assistant at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, where she provided coverage for women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s track and field, including NCAA Regional and National Championship events. She also assisted in classroom instruction for undergraduate athletic training students.
In addition to her work in sports medicine, Miller has extensive leadership experience in human resources, having worked in senior supervisory roles at Six Flags St. Louis since 1998.
She holds a master’s degree in physical education from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Central Methodist College. Miller is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Mid-America Athletic Trainers’ Association, and Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association.
A native of Saint Ann, Mo., Miller is certified in CPR/AED by the American Heart Association and is currently completing training in blood flow restriction therapy.
