Carlton McDonald-Jordan

Carlton McDonald-Jordan joined Missouri Baptist University as an assistant athletic trainer in 2025. A recent graduate of Saint Louis University’s Master of Athletic Training program, McDonald-Jordan brings a wide range of clinical and athletic experience at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels.

During his graduate studies, McDonald-Jordan provided medical coverage for Saint Louis University’s men’s basketball, men’s tennis, and cross country programs. He also gained valuable experience working high-profile events, including the MVC Men’s Basketball Tournament, the APP Pickleball Tour, and the Nike Elite 100 Basketball Camp, where he cared for elite-level athletes and collaborated with medical professionals in fast-paced environments.

McDonald-Jordan also completed clinical rotations at EXOS Mercy Center for Performance Medicine and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he contributed to rehabilitation programs and provided individualized care for a range of sports including softball, tennis, and track and field. His earlier experience includes working at Edwardsville High School, where he supported the prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of injuries in a high school athletics setting.

A native of St. Louis, McDonald-Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Saint Louis University. He is certified in Mental Health First Aid, and is skilled in therapeutic exercise, injury prevention, and medical record-keeping. His professional approach centers on collaboration, consistency, and compassionate care.
