Colleen Fitt joined the Missouri Baptist University athletic training staff as an assistant athletic trainer in 2025. A native of Saint Charles, Mo., Fitt brings a diverse background in clinical and athletic settings, with hands-on experience working with collegiate athletes, physical therapy patients, and professional performers.
Fitt earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Lindenwood University, where she completed a series of clinical rotations across a wide range of disciplines—including football, gymnastics, professional ballet, and sports medicine. She also served as a rehabilitation aide at Athletico Physical Therapy, supporting physical therapists and assisting with patient care.
Her rotation experience includes time at Mercy Sports Medicine, where she assisted with casting, bracing, splinting, and sterile preparations for orthopedic procedures. She also worked closely with the Saint Louis Ballet and Athletico Physical Therapy to support rehabilitation efforts and improve patient outcomes.
Fitt is a Board of Certification (BOC) certified athletic trainer and holds current certification in Basic Life Support with Emergency Oxygen Administration. Her Missouri athletic training license is pending. She has also volunteered with the MO' Cowbell and Go STL marathons and served as a sports medicine team member with the St. Louis Battlehawks of the UFL.
She received her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Lindenwood University, where she was also a captain and later assistant coach for the Golden Line Dance Team.
