David Brader brings more than 25 years of experience as a special teams specialist, coach, and talent evaluator, working with kickers, punters, and long snappers from the high school to professional levels.
A former NFL punter, Brader has established himself as one of the premier specialist instructors in the Midwest. Since 2008, he has served as the owner and lead instructor of Elite Special Teams Academy, where he develops athletes through individualized training focused on technique, consistency, and injury prevention. The program has produced more than 50 All-State specialists, 20 All-Metro performers, three All-Americans and four NFL specialists, including two currently active players. Since 2013, he has partnered with former Pro Bowl kicker Neil Rackers to further enhance training and development opportunities.
In addition to his academic work, Brader has served as a specialist coach and consultant at Lindenwood University since 2014, providing technical instruction, performance evaluation, and recruiting insight.
He also spent more than 15 years working elite national camps, including roles as a punt instructor and evaluator with Husted Kicking and the Aguiar-Husted Pro Camp from 2003–19. In that role, he instructed and evaluated more than 100 specialists per event, including NFL free agents and top draft-eligible prospects, while utilizing performance analytics and charting systems.
Earlier in his career, Brader worked as an instructor and talent evaluator with Aguiar Kicking Academy from 2002–08, helping assess and rank specialists for college and professional exposure. He began his coaching career with Professional Kicking Services under Ray Pelfrey from 1999–2001, conducting camps throughout the Midwest.
As a player, Brader spent time in the National Football League as a punter from 2000–07, including offseason roster stints with the Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Throughout his career, Brader has specialized in athlete development, recruiting guidance, performance evaluation and mentorship, while maintaining an extensive network across college football and the NFL.
