Missouri Baptist University announced Emilee Mitchell as the next Head STUNT & All-Girl Cheer Coach on May 9, 2025.
Mitchell returned to MBU after serving as a graduate assistant coach for the Dallas Baptist University (DBU) Cheer and STUNT teams from 2023-25. She is also an MBU alumna with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Business Administration. Mitchell was active in MBU’s STUNT, All-Girl, and sideline teams and served as team chaplain.
During her time at DBU, both teams, NCAA Division II Intermediate All-Girl and DII Game-Day, won four National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate National Titles, and the DBU STUNT team won the first inaugural Lone Star Conference Championship. She also completed a Master of Arts in Education Ministry Leadership, specializing in Women’s Discipleship, College Ministry, and High School Christian Education at DBU.
Mitchell brings over 15 years of cheerleading experience and six years of coaching, including roles at Hi-NRG Gymnastics and Westminster Christian Academy, where she led and expanded cheer programs and coached multiple teams.
Her vision is to grow a program committed to glorifying God by preparing student-athletes to make a meaningful impact for His Kingdom. She lives and coaches by one of her favorite verses, Ephesians 3:20-21: “Now to him who can do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us…”
