Kyleigh Maryas

Kyleigh Maryas joined the Missouri Baptist University athletic training staff in July 2026 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. She earned a Master of Athletic Training from Culver-Stockton College after completing a Bachelor of Science in Health Science.

During her graduate education, Maryas accumulated more than 1,000 hours of clinical experience across collegiate athletics, high school athletics, and sports medicine settings. Her clinical rotations included Missouri Baptist University, Mercy Clinic Sports Medicine at the Mercy Center for Performance Medicine, Culver-Stockton College, Quincy University, and Quincy Notre Dame High School.

While completing a clinical rotation at Missouri Baptist, Maryas provided athletic training coverage for the Spartans' football, softball, and cross country programs. Her responsibilities included injury evaluation, rehabilitation, emergency care, practice and game coverage, therapeutic modalities, preventive taping and bracing, injury documentation, and coordination of medical care for student-athletes.

In addition to her collegiate athletics experience, Maryas gained valuable clinical experience working alongside sports medicine physicians at Mercy Clinic Sports Medicine, assisting with patient evaluations, concussion management, performance training, and musculoskeletal care.

Her experience spans football, basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer, with additional training in diagnostic ultrasound, manual therapy techniques, rehabilitation program design, and orthopedic surgical observation.

A former women's soccer student-athlete at Culver-Stockton College, Maryas was recognized as the Master's of Athletic Training Standout Student in 2025, earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors during the 2024-25 academic year, and was a member of the Culver-Stockton Honors Program. She also earned multiple academic honors, including President's List, Provost's List, and Honors List recognition.

Maryas maintains certifications in Basic Life Support, Stop the Bleed, Psychological First Aid, and Safe Space Ally Training. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), Missouri Athletic Trainers' Association (MoATA), and Mid-America Athletic Trainers' Association (MAATA).
