Mattie Noyes joined the Missouri Baptist cross country & track and field staff as an assistant middle distance/distance coach in June of 2026.
A native of Troy, Ill., Noyes is a former All-State track and field athlete (2021) at Triad High School, where she also holds the school record as part of the 4x800m relay team.
Far from new to the program, Noyes is a 2026 MBU grad with a BA in Marketing. During her time in the program as an athlete, Noyes was a part of two national qualifying Women's Cross Country teams, a national qualifying 4x800m relay, and a two-time conference championship winning team in both cross country and track. She was a member of the current 4x800 school record team at MBU (2023).
Noyes is beyond excited to be able to build up the next generation of athletes in the same program that helped mold her into the athlete she is today. She is inspired by the coaching of Coach McQueen, along with her high school coaches Andy Brendel and Megan Delong, and her father Matt Noyes, who ran at SIU Edwardsville and coached at Triad.
In her free time, Noyes enjoys watching Fighting Illini basketball, going to Cardinals games, and working on projects for her freelance marketing business.
