Michelle Hanock enters her first year as Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations & Facilities at Missouri Baptist University.

Hanock returns to MBU with extensive experience in athletic administration, coaching, and program development. She most recently served as Athletic Director and K-8 Assistant for 9-12 programs at Visitation Academy, where she led a comprehensive K-12 athletic department of more than 700 students across 14 sports.

A key strength of Hanock’s background is in facility and event operations. At Visitation, she oversaw all home contest logistics, including scheduling, game management, volunteer coordination, and concessions. She also played a leading role in multiple facility enhancement projects, including the development of a turf field, tennis court upgrades, construction of a new press box, expanded outdoor concessions, bleacher improvements, and the addition of locker rooms, a team room, and a sports media space.

In addition to her administrative leadership, Hanock brings a diverse coaching background, having worked with varsity and junior varsity programs in basketball, soccer, volleyball, cross country, and track.

Her professional experience also includes roles as a K-8 Physical Education Instructor at St. Cecilia School & Academy and as a Health, Physical Education, and Women’s Health instructor at Ursuline Academy, where she developed curriculum and mentored students.

A graduate of Missouri Baptist University, Hanock holds a Master of Educational Administration, a Master of Science in Education (K-12), and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine. She also holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA), Registered Athletic Director (RAA), and Registered Middle School Athletic Administrator (RSMAA), along with First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

In her role at MBU, Hanock oversees internal operations and facilities, supporting event management, facility coordination, and departmental processes to enhance the overall student-athlete experience.
