MBU Athletics

Nalani Hunter joined the Missouri Baptist track and field staff as the throws coach in August of 2026.   

A native of Fenton, Mo., Hunter is a former All-State track and field athlete (2022) in shot put and discus at Fox High School, where she holds the record for shot put. 

Not far from Missouri Baptist, Hunter is a 2026 Maryville University graduate with a B.S. in Sports Business Management. During her time as an athlete, Hunter was an All-Conference athlete and remains in the top 10 performers for her respective events. 

Hunter is beyond excited to be able to build and develop the next generation of athletes while also changing lives. She brings a strong understanding of the demands of throwing and is committed to helping athletes reach their full potential both in competition and in the classroom.  

In her free time, Hunter enjoys listening to music, going to Blues games, and building Legos.
