Taylor Jacobsen

Taylor Jacobsen was announced as the next Missouri Baptist University Head Women's Basketball Coach on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. She came to MBU after serving as an assistant coach for five years at Arizona Christian University.

In total, the Aurora, Ill. native has seven seasons of coaching experience, with five seasons at ACU after serving as a graduate assistant coach for two years at Concordia University, Nebraska, when the program won the 2018-19 NAIA Division II National Championship.

In five years with the Firestorm, the program posted a 90-49 overall record (.647) and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament in each of the last two seasons.

As a member of the Concordia University, Nebraska coaching staff during the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, the Bulldogs totaled a 67-5 overall record en route to winning back-to-back conference championships, as well as taking home the 2018-19 NAIA Division II National Championship.

During her playing career with the Concordia University Chicago Cougars, Jacobsen amassed over 1,000 career points and averaged a team-high 18.3 points per game to go along with 3.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.7 steals per game during her senior campaign.  

Jacobsen earned an undergraduate degree in exercise science in May 2018 from Concordia Chicago and received a Master of Athletic Administration degree in May 2020 from Concordia, Nebraska.
