Tyler Deen was a named Assistant wrestling coach prior to the 2025-2026 season

As a competitor, 2025 NAIA national qualifier, advancing to the round of 12. He was named the 2025 American Midwest Conference Newcomer of the Year.

Before competing at Missouri Baptist University, Deen wrestled at the NCAA Division I level for Cal State Bakersfield and the University of Nebraska.

As a prep standout, Deen was ranked No. 16 nationally, won a New Mexico state title, placed twice at the California state championships and finished fourth at the U.S. Marine Corps Freestyle National Championships.
