Bio

• Holds USSF B, C, D and Grassroots Licenses.
• Holds NSCAA National and Advanced National Coaching Licenses, and Level 1, 2, and 3 GK Licenses
• Alum of Missouri Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a minor in business administration. He also received his master's in education with an emphasis in sport management from MBU
• Played one season of soccer at Missouri Baptist and was chosen as an All-AMC selection as well as All-Region Honorable Mention during his senior season
• Played on the Antigua National Team
• Was a member of the St. Louis Lions Premier Development Team of the United Soccer League (USL) for the program's first three full seasons where he earned USL First Team All-Region in his first year. Merrick helped the Lions reach the playoffs for the first time in team history and to another winning season with a record of 10-6-0.
