St. Louis, Mo. - Missouri Baptist University women's volleyball only needed three sets to get its 30th victory of the season on Friday, going on to a 25-13, 25-17, 25-17 win.
It was the second to last home match for the team, as it gets closer to finding out if it will be in the NAIA playoffs this season. Seniors Jessica Bowman and Lauren Stuckel both turned in an outstanding match against Benedictine to help the MBU cause. Bowman ended the evening with seven kills and a .500 hitting percentage. Stuckel was equally impressive, finishing with 30 assists, five kills and three service aces.
The team will travel to Springfield to take on Benedictine on Wednesday, which will be the second-half of a home and home meeting between the two teams.
