Chesterfield, Mo.- After a tough double overtime loss to Williams Baptist College, the Missouri Baptist men's soccer team wanted to end their final home game with a win. The team was unable to get their offense going as the Spartans fell 2-0.
Missouri Baptist knew going into the game that it was going to be tough against a strong offensive team like Lindenwood. The Lions were a very fast skilled team, but the Spartans hung in the game with them. The team played strong defense throughout the first half and MBU's goalie

In the second half, Lindenwood continued its offensive pressure on the Spartans. The Lions were able to score in the 47th minute on a goal by Ivan Ignacio Pizarro Romero who stole the pass from Spartan goalie
