Parkville, Mo. - The 20th ranked Missouri Baptist University volleyball team won its fifth straight and extended a season-high 15 consecutive set win streak against Park University on Friday night, 25-19, 25-21 and 25-14.
The Spartans travelled to Parkville, Mo., and put together another strong team effort. MBU's Lucy Ford was on fire in the match, recording nine kills and eight digs. Ford finished with a .333 hitting percentage.
Also of note was MBU's Megan Moore. For the second consecutive evening, Moore turned in a stellar performance. The senior from Mehlville High School finished with a .533 hitting percentage, while knocking down eight kills of her own.
The Spartans have yet to play a home match this season, making their 13-1 record even more impressive. MBU will continue the road trip on Monday, when the team travels to conference opponent Hannibal LaGrange on Monday. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m
