PARK DOMINATES MEN'S SOCCER, 6-2

ST. LOUIS- The Missouri Baptist men's soccer team dropped its second straight AMC contest, as they fell to Park, 6-2. Oscar Rojas and Greg Kranz had the goals for MBU, but the Spartans fall to 2-2 in AMC play.

Greg Kranz made the start in net for the Spartans. He made one save in the first half, but allowed three goals. Tim Koppell started the second half in net, but he also allowed three goals.

Kranz had a goal on his lone shot of the game. Rojas had two shots on goal and had one goal. Joe Wonsewith had one shot on goal, but was held without a goal. He did record an assist. Evan Stoll also had an assist for the Spartans.

Park took a 1-0 lead less than six minutes into the contest. With 22 minutes remaining in the first half, Park scored again on a penalty kick.

Missouri Baptist trailed 3-0 after a goal by George Kennedy with 14:13 left in the first half.

The Spartans got on the board with 5:55 left in the half after a Joe Wonsewith corner kick found the head of Oscar Rojas. It was Rojas' fourth goal of the season and Wonsewith's fourth assist on the year.

Park took a 4-1 lead with 23:24 left in the contest on a goal by George Kennedy.

Ronaldo Falcao gave Park a 5-1 lead with nine minutes left in the game, but Evan Stoll hooked up with Greg Kranz to cut the lead to 5-2 with eight minutes left. For Kranz, it was his fifth goal of the season and Stoll picked up his first assist of the season.

As time expired, Johans Buchholz scored the sixth goal for Park.

Missouri Baptist falls to 6-3-1 and 2-2 in AMC play. The Spartans will take on Harris-Stowe on Tuesday at 3:00 pm.
