ST. LOUIS – For the second time in 2013, sophomore setter Ally Krus was named AMC Player of the Week after leading Missouri Baptist women's volleyball to two wins.

Krus, the setter from St. Louis, Mo., averaged 11.63 assists per set over the two matches and slightly bested her season average of 11.59, which leads the NAIA. She also tacked-on eight kills (four each against Culver-Stockton College and Bethel University) in the two victories.

Krus' best match was against Bethel, when she recorded 50 assists over four matches with three block assists, but also posted a double-double against Culver-Stockton with 43 assists and 13 digs.

This is Krus' second time to win the award in 2013 after taking it home in week one. In 2012, Krus was an NAIA Honorable Mention and was named to the All-Conference First Team in addition to her taking home AMC Freshman of the Year honors.
