SPARTANS FALL TO NAIA NO. 24 LYNX

ST. LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] The Missouri Baptist men's soccer team gave-up two costly goals in the second-half on Wednesday against No. 24 Lindenwood-Belleville in a 2-0 loss at home.

Missouri Baptist (1-11-2, 1-6) held Lindenwood-Belleville scoreless in the first half as the Lynx out shot MBU 9-2.

MBU was unable to hold the LU in the second half as Juan Santamaria and Cesar Acosta both hit the back of the Spartan net. MBU was able to get off six shots in the second half, but couldn't find the back of the goal.

John Schnurbush held Lindenwood-Belleville to two goals on nine shots.

Missouri Baptist will remain at home over the weekend as the team will face the Williams Baptist Eagles. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. On Saturday, October 18.
